Super-King sized, top of the range WATERBED, £2500 when new in Anlaby, East Riding of Yorkshire for sale

A luxury, top of the range, Superking waterbed with the benefit of two separate mattresses, in a lovely chocolate brown suedette kind of look and feel surround. The bed has a very modern look, and will be an excellent fit in most bedroom schemes. Complete, and easy to construct with clip in brackets, so there are no screws and awkward fittings Made by the very well respected British Waterbed Company, and still available, though the photograph from their website is not of the identical bed, unfortunately. The bed has already been dismantled, and is ready for immediate collection. I laid out the individual pieces in the main photograph, in what seemed to be a logical order. In the overall picture, the 2 large headboards are at the rear, and directly in front of them are the boards that clip together to make the base and flat surface for the waterbed sections to lie upon. In the centre, in blue, is the liner with the two separate main water bed elements. Some beds have one single mattress, but two separate mattresses offers greater comfort for people of either two different weights, or with different preferences. One mattress is 75% stabilised, and the other is motionless/mud for a firmer setting, though it does still move gently, of course. Around the centre pieces and at the front, are the four chocolate brown finished side pieces that are visible, once assembled, with two drawers to each side for convenient and quite generous sized storage. The drawers themselves are in the front corners of the photograph. Finally along each edge of the photograph are the foam edge surrounds that cover the hard sides to ensure getting in and out of the bed is soft and comfortable. All of this is covered by the mattress covers that goes over the waterbed, in a neutral cream colour, which are in the centre of the picture, and with them on, the bed looks very much like a conventional king-sized bed, in appearance. In one of the drawers are the 2 heat pads and heating controllers as well as a few water conditioning products for the ongoing care of the bed (which is pretty minimal) The mattress with the mud setting, due to my preference, was not heated whilst it was in use and did develop a few leaks, all of which have been properly repaired with a puncture repair kit that comes included in the sale. In the event of a leak, water only leaks into the liner, so cannot leak out of the bed itself, and cannot damage carpets or flooring. Once repaired and dried with a few towels it is fine again. The 75% stabilised mattress is softer and has never had any kind of leak. The bed cover is washable, which is great, but it was put in the tumble drier on too high a heat on one occasion, and the zip suffered some heat damage, which does cause a bit of a problem in zipping the cover properly around the bed. With persistence it does zip round though, and then is fine. Collection only from the Hull area, please. As you can see, there is a lot of bed, and it should not be underestimated in terms of transporting it. It just (and I mean just) fits into the back of a Vauxhall Zafira with the seats down, so perhaps a van would be more a comfortable fit? This is a top of the range, high quality water bed, and I am sure the winning bidder will be very pleased with the bed and the comfort it offers, though as a used item, I cannot offer any warranties or guarantees, and it is bought as seen.
